What are you like? Are you thoughtful and conscientious, considerate of others, generous, patient and wise?
When you read that last sentence, did you feel like that applied to you? If you did, I will bet that when you read your astrological sign you can identify with at least a few of the qualities that are attributed to your zodiac sign. There is one special quality I would put in every astrological sign. I will demonstrate with an example:

You are passionate, but also highly intuitive. You are kind, and fairness is very important to you. When necessary you will be diplomatic, but you can be indecisive. You gravitate towards the artistic, and you feel that broad lukewarm generalizations that any normal person feel would apply to them also apply to you. But you are too stupid to recognize that means that the generalization has no meaning at all whatsoever, because you are a gullible naive dunce. |
Everyone thinks they are better than they really are. Everyone believes that they have a real potential, and that their potential just may not have had a chance to shine yet. An average person will think they are thoughtful and conscientious, considerate of others, generous, patient and wise. They feel like they might not be able to act that way every day, but you just need to catch them under the right circumstances.
Bearing that in mind, go for a drive, take a trip to the mall, and count how many people are acting that way. Now for the icing on the cake, with the exception of a few people who I have met who were honest with themselves, most people don't even think that they are ugly. But the world is full of shuffling fish faced masses of ugly pigs!
How can the two things be possible? It's because of denial. Useless ugly dunces can convince themselves they are decent looking, intelligent, caring, competent and worthwhile, despite the fact there is no tangible proof. So where am I headed with all this?
Average people=over rated.
GM is an example of when average people do anything.
Below you will see a 5 year graph of GM Stock. This does not represent GM's earnings, but it is a representation of a company going down the fucking tubes. Look at what is going on at the start of the graph, that is 2005. Trading at around $50 a share.
Now look at 2009, trading at an encouraging $2 a share.

People are bummed out that GM might go out of business. It won't go out of business because it is too mediocre to die.
GM, is just like average people, it doesn't know that it sucks. Why not? If a person who has an IQ of 100 can still feel that they are smart, GM can still feel like a decent car company. But it obviously isn't a decent car company. Why is that? Because there are better car companies, who make more profitable cars that customers want to buy. GM sells more cars than any other company, but is losing money, because they have to sell their cars for $9000. The market does not place a high dollar value on GM's efforts.
Here is a human life comparison of the same phenomena. If I have an IQ of 100, I might want a job getting paid as much as a cardiologist, but I will have to settle for a job getting paid as much as a person who answers the phone and does photocopying for that cardiologist. That is the employment market putting a low dollar value on my efforts. If I have an IQ of less than 100, I might get a job selling cars to the person who answers the phone and does photocopying for that cardiologist.
If GM goes out of business what will happen to the economy? It will change nothing. Don't worry, the economy has already absorbed the shock of GM going bankrupt, that's what the $2 a share means. Admittedly, the factories will close, but the factories that were going to close, were going to close anyway.
But you want to say, all those poor GM employees will be out of work! Oh no!
Keep in mind that the job that person is going to lose, was a job building cars for GM. You didn't want to spend more than $9000 on one of those cars did you? But now all of a sudden you feel sorry for them. How convenient. A lot of people lost their jobs selling asbestos, a lot of people lost their jobs selling cigarettes, but oddly, not a lot of tears for those workers. Puzzling. Cars kill more people that cigarettes, they kill more people than asbestos. Cars are the most death dealing invention second only to guns. And guns were made to kill people. You want to say, "But those factory workers never killed anybody, they just made cars. They shouldn't be blamed for what happens on the road." I am not convinced. You might feel like it is not fair that the workers should even have to suffer just because of what GM's management has been doing. It was the management of GM that found a way to be the largest car company in the world and go downhill for 2 decades straight.
Well I for one don't buy it, its like blaming Wall Street for the financial crisis. What about the million shitheel real estate agents and every other greedy grampire who thought it was a chance to profit off a hot market and pass the losses off on to some anonymous chump. That anonymous chump, by the way, was you.
If GM goes out of business I can look forward to the day, probably in 3 years, when the last Grand Am breaks down and GM cars are off the road for good. What's actually depressing is that GM is still in business today. I wish that GM went out of business 15 years ago. Think of all the time we lost where life could have been so much better. Guys who wear wrap around sunglasses with white plastic frames would have no choice but to spend more than $9000 on their car. Their car payments would be higher and they would only able to afford to drive drunk and high on meth 2 nights a week. And all the world's middle class dad's would have to tell their dog faced princess she has to take the bus, rather than buy her an $8000 Chevy Cobalt that she will drive through red lights while talking on her cell phone.
GM cars are fuckin junk. If you drive a GM car, and that offends you, my response is, I.dont.give.a.fuck. I will make one exception, if you are over the age of 40, there is a chance you drive a GM because you grew up in a world where GM wasn't the same company you see today. That is understandable, but you may want to start shopping for a new company for the future though.
It is possible that after reading my thoughts on GM, and humanity, you now think that I am a bad person. If you do, so what? As long as you don't think I'm an average person, I'm happy.
