Me and my friends are consistent with our peers in being itinerant twentysomething do nothings, and about 50 percent of us take it upon themselves to go to asia and teach english. I can't wait until all of Asia speaks english, which if we keep exporting English teachers at the current rate should happen any day now.
But aside from all the white people in Asia, they have a civilization dating back hundreds of years, which is actually pretty interesting. They also have a whole lot of other stuff you might find interesting. Luckily I can save you the trip thanks to a friend of mine I will refer to as Mike Cobraowsky.
Mike Cobraowsky forwards these threads of pictures taken by a friend of his who lives in Taiwan, and the pictures are pretty cool. The threads also have a link at the top to play a little song while you look at the pictures, I recommend that you play the song too.
